Design Director / Design Researcher

I am a design director who has lead various design projects while managing a multi-disciplinary talented design team. Recently, I am working closely with clients such as the automotive, consumer electronics and healthcare industry. Besides working as a design professional, I am currently pursuing a Ph.D study in the Graduate School of Information Studies at The University of Tokyo. My research interest is in the crossing area of design research, human-computer interaction and architecture.

I received my M. Arch from SCI_Arc [Southern California Institute of Architecture], B.A in linguistics from TUFS [Tokyo University of Foreign Studies]

Key Responsibilities

1. Responsible for labor and workplace health/safety management for the 15 people based in the Kyoto office.
2. Serve as the sales contact for the Kansai region, taking responsibility for expanding the company’s client network.

I lead a team of 18 members composed of designers, strategists, and design engineers as a director and communicate with board members to develop a corporate mid-term management plan.
